Michael Zaragoza, MD, FACS

Dr. Zaragoza received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1987. He completed his Residency in Urology at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1993, following the completion of his surgical residencies at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia, and the University of Michigan. He is a board certified urologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He has practiced with Urology Associates of Delaware since 1993. He is past chairman of the department of surgery at Bayhealth Medical Center, Kent General Hospital in Dover and serves as clinical Associate Professor of Surgery for both Drexel University College of Medicine and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the current President of the Delaware Urological Society and associate editor of The Delaware Medical Journal.

Dr. Zaragoza’s practice encompasses a wide variety of general urology, with a specialty interest in female urology and incontinence, including Botox injections and Interstim sacral nerve stimulation. Dr. Zaragoza also specializes in the treatment of all urologic oncology treatments, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers, and serves as chairman of the multi- disciplinary Genitourinary Tumor conferences held bi-monthly at Bayhealth Medical Center.
