Duties include prepping charts for patient visits, working closely with the MDs as part of a team, documenting information in the EMR including patient vitals and histories, removing Foley catheters, responding to patient messages, scanning documents, prescription refills, medication authorizations, stocking supplies, cleaning rooms; other duties as required.

  • Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program strongly preferred.
  • Two years of recent relevant medical assistant experience highly preferred.
  • Experience assisting with procedures a big plus.
  • EMR experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and render superior customer service.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA.

Our busy practices seeks an experienced LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience. Previous urology experience is a plus. Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current Delaware license. This is a permanent full-time position Monday through Friday. Hours vary slightly but are typically 0815AM to 5:00 PM. The LPN provides support to the physician and clinical team including foley removals and placements, wound care and suture removal, teaching self-catheterization, suprapubic catheter changes, dressing changes, injections, and administration of BCG/Elmiron, Will also assesses walk-in patients for needed care, handle a large volume of messages and accurately document patient medical information in the EMR. Must possess superior interpersonal skills strong communications skills and superb patient care.
